Rose Time at Last!

 

Pond Iris

 Two of my favourite flowers are actually aquatic - the waterlily and the purple pond iris. I'm always giddy with happiness when they first appear!🌸

Small Blue

 

I'm not very good at photographing butterflies because they are always too quick for me, but I managed to get a couple of half-decent shots of this teeny tiny beauty - The Small Blue.🦋 Wish I had managed to get a shot of her with her wings open. Oh well.

Smoke Bush

 One of my favourite shrubs, the Smoke Bush, is flowering right now and looking stunning.💕 

Won't be long until it starts smokin'! 😀

First Roses!!!

 First of the roses to bloom in my back garden. 

The first is Blue Eyes, the second I forget the name, and the third is the prequel of The Lady of Shalott!
