Pics from 4th May...

The area around the wildlife pond is a chaotic mess at the moment but I love all the mix of colours! After the clematis has finished blooming I really need to cut it back a bit (along with the ivy) and clear the guttering. The grass paths also need a mow. I'm a very lazy gardener!

My mini woodland!

Last year we bought a gorgeous cabin styled shed from
The Posh Shed Company. I planted ferns and bluebells and other
woodland plants around it to make it seem like it was in a woodland setting.
The view from the shed is inspired by our favourite holiday
destination, North Wales. I used slate clippings to evoke
slate paths, added a mini waterfall and a little wooden bench.
My garden isn't very big but I've tried to create as many different
themed areas as I could.

More photos to be added asap!

Petunia Night Sky

I don't buy a lot of annuals but one I definitely do buy every year
is the stunning Petunia Night Sky. No two are alike and all
are gorgeous!

Fritillary

One of my favourite wild flowers at this time of year is Fritillary. I LOVE the chequered pattern, it is so beautifully unique. The white version doesn't have the pattern but it's still beautiful.

All photos were taken by me in my garden.

Tulips!

I thought I'd make a collage of some of the more exotic tulips
I've had in the garden over the past seven years.
All photos were taken by me in my garden.

Larger versions of all these shots can be found in this blog (somewhere!).
