In the Garden Today...

Pretty Purples n the Garden Yesterday...

Boris!

I have no idea who this cat is or where he comes from but he is a sweet friendly old thing and we have started calling him Boris. He has been sleeping in my conservatory every night for months so I'm assuming his owners put him out at night. He was even seeking warmth in my conservatory when there was deep snow on the ground and it was - 7 degrees. I was quite shocked that someone would put their cat out on such a harsh night. Unfortunately, my cat Loki is not sociable and hisses at him if he comes too close to her. She has also been avoiding coming into the conservatory but I can't keep the cat flap locked and keep them both out. I think she just needs to get used to him, which might be easier when it's warm enough to open the conservatory doors and sit in there. Boris is such a gentle giant. He never retaliates when she growls at him and just plods away. I think he is quite old. I do wonder what is name is though, and who owns him. I don't think he is a stray because he's big and sturdy and healthy looking. But expect more photos of him while he continues to visit.
